I'm JEAN VALJEAN! No, I'm not, but I just HAD to say that. I'm really just a high schooler in Washington (Washington state, not DC. Think evergreens and rain, not the white house) who decided to do an English project as a blog. I'm going to be using it after, but for now it's a poetry anthology.
You're probably wondering where I got "A Thousand Secret Flames" from. Well, I love this song by the band Renaissance "Song of Scheherazade", and there's this really pretty part where the lyrics go, "You would cause the sun to see the light and then be shamed/You'd cover darkness with a thousand secret flames of your love...". I spent probably about an hour trying to decide on a name, and then it hit me. A Thousand Secret Flames. Niiiiiiice.
